When in for an examination, if the Veterinarian feels it is necessary to run diagnostic testing beyond our in-clinic facilities, they will recommend sending a sample away for further testing.
The majority of our laboratory samples sent digitally via the Imagyst for pathologist review, or samples are mailed to IDEXX Reference Laboratories in Ontario. Examples of this testing are histology of lumps, aspirates and specialized endocrine testing which cannot be run in-house.
