Spaying

Spaying a cat or dog involves the surgical removal of the ovaries and uterus. By spaying your pet you’re protecting her against some potentially deadly diseases, including bacterial infections, reproductive tract diseases and several types of cancer. In addition, you do not need to worry about her having any unplanned pregnancies or going into heat.

The procedure is an abdominal surgery and requires general anesthesia. Please see our patient monitoring section for more information on what we do to keep your pet safe while under anesthesia.
